This years Christmas do was held at the delightfully hipster Elnecot Restaurant in the trendy Ancoats area of Manchester. Members who attended were treated to a welcome glass of fizz, and a delightful 3 course dinner that certainly topped up the calorie intake for the day... especially that Chocolate fondant pud...mmmmm
It was a really great way to actually have a chat and get to know other members a little better, off court and it was really great to have several newer members attend alongside returning members and of course the usual suspects! ;-)
After the coffee was served folk headed off into the Village to continue the evening with more laughs, dancing and catching up with other club members who hadn't made it to the meal this year. Photos of that part of the evening are on individuals Facebook pages...as we didn't want to over egg(nog) the fact that we are a club that enjoys to play and socialise hard!
Social Tennis sessions will of course continue throughout December and watch out for the annual winter doubles in January!
