2026

The Gayvis Cup is the product of a five year collaboration between the Northern Aces and the London Lions, celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans & Non-binary tennis. The tournament takes place in Manchester, UK and is now organised and delivered by the Northern Aces.

The 2026 tournament dates are:
Saturday 21st Feb - Sunday 22nd Feb 2026
Registration opens Friday 9th Jan 2026

The tournament's aim is to provide a safe space to celebrate inclusion and equality in tennis; where LGBTQ+ people are represented and able to live authentically both on and off court. Now in its fifth year, the Gayvis Cup has welcomed players from all across Europe and has become the kick off event for the GLTA World Tour.

Located at the Manchester Tennis and Football Centre, the tournament takes places over two days on indoor hard courts. The centre is used as the training grounds for the Davis Cup which takes place in Manchester in September.
Entry Restrictions
As The Gayvis Cup grows and becomes more popular each year, due to court availability, participant numbers are limited.
The tournament format comprises three teams of 14 competing at various levels to win points which contribute to an overall team total.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee your entry to the tournament. Once all players from each team have registered to play, final team selection will be at the discretion of each team captain.

For those unable to participate, we do encourage coming along to spectate and support your local team.
Fees and Pricing
We do everything we can to keep costs low, with entry fees covering only what is required to run the tournament.

Tournament entry for The Gayvis Cup 2026 is £48 per person, with an optional extra for the Saturday evening banquet.

Accessibility
For both participants and spectators, the Manchester Tennis Centre is wheelchair accessible for those with mobility issues or pastoral care needs.

If you have accessibility needs, please contact info@northernacestennis.com and we will help make any appropriate arrangements.
