Social Event - Aces go Hiking
We will get the 10:18 train from Manchester Picadilly and after a short 20 minutes, begin our walk in Marple. This 3 hour circular route will pass through Etherow Country Park up to Erncroft Wood and back, where we will stop at a local pub for some drinks and snacks.

About the Event
The route will take us from Marple Bridge along the River Goyt, following the Peak Forest Canal briefly after starting then continue north into Etherow Country Park. Following the River Etherow, we will continue north to Erncroft Wood passing by a small lake. There is a variety of natural environments along the way to enjoy, including woods, ponds and river views.
It is an easy route and suitable for all levels of fitness.
Dogs are welcome.
