2023 will mark the 13th Manchester GLTA International Tournament, renamed Kiss My Ace in 2018. It will once again be hosted at The Northern, affectionately known as The Wimbledon of the North.
In 2019 we became the first tournament on the European Tour to offer grass court play. And not just any grass courts, these courts have been rated 2nd only to Wimbledon!

the venue
Located in five acres of grounds in a tranquil setting in the heart of Didsbury, The Northern is an award-winning club and a wonderful place to play tennis. This club has a 135 year history, hosting national and international events such as the Aegon Manchester Tournament.
Many great players have played here including Jimmy Connors, Billy Jean King, John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Sue Barker, Goran Ivanisovic, and Martina Hingis.
Pete Sampras won his first ever grass court tournament at The Northern, and more recent stars of the circuit such as Anna Ivanovic have used the club as a training base.
