Northern Aces Weekly Tennis Sessions
Northern Aces currently meets to play tennis at the Manchester Indoor Tennis Centre, Alan Turing Way (Gate 2), Sportcity, Manchester M11 3FF, every Saturday and Sunday afternoon between 2 and 5pm.

Travel by public transport. Take the 216, 217, 231, 236, 237 from Piccadilly Gardens (Stand D) to City of Manchester Stadium (Rowsley Street stop). Journey time is around 10 - 15 minutes. Walk into The City of Manchester stadium, keep the football stadium on your right, and the athletics stadium on your left. Then keep the squash centre to your left and the football stadium behind you, until you see a bridge which crosses a tramline and a canal. Cross over the bridge, and you will see the tennis centre on your left.
The Group usually manages to book 5 courts each Saturday and 4 courts on a Sunday. Additional courts may be booked dependent upon court availability and attendance to sessions. However, this is subject to change as Manchester Tennis Centre occassionally hosts tournaments.
Over the summer months, some courts are booked outside, but generally the sessions are held indoors. Most of the play is doubles, which takes priority; singles is played when spare court capacity is available. Northern Aces provides tennis balls, which are used only for two sessions and then replaced with new balls.
